The sole reason I liked this photo and sharing with you in this post is because though I clicked this photo accidentally (in Kerala, from a moving train while heading towards Mangalore), it came quite clean- nothing else came in the frame, except the water, boat and boatmen. Water was calm and reflections pretty clear...
On second observation, it appears as if the person rowing the boat is not a seasonal boatsman, but a reasonably wealthy gentleman. May be they have boats for each family, just the way we have bikes and cars and this man might be heading to nearby town in his boat... (Copycat Venice...)
